How does chiropractic care differ from traditional medical treatment?

Chiropractic care focuses on the relationship between the spine and nervous system, and offers an alternative to drugs and surgery by incorporating nutrition, musculoskeletal therapy, proper joint mobility, and most importantly- patient education.

We ensure each patient has an individualized care plan focused on their own needs. Under our care, we hope you feel seen, heard, and validated.

What should I expect during my first chiropractic appointment?

Your first appointment will last about 30 minutes and will consist of our initial paperwork, a thorough history including vitals, orthopedic exams, functional movement assessments, review of findings, and your treatment.

Is ATC covered by my insurance?

We do not currently take insurance, but we may in the future.

How many sessions of chiropractic care will I need to see results?

This will vary depending on your condition. During your initial visit, we will create an individualized care plan for you.

What techniques do you use during treatment?

We believe the muscle and joint work simultaneously to create biomechanical dysfunctions and should equally be addressed through our treatment. We aim to decrease pain and increase mobility through the use of Myofascial Release Technique, passive modalities such as Graston/IASTM, Muscle STIM, hot packs, stretching, active care stretches & exercises and chiropractic adjustments.

Do you only treat the spine?

We treat a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, including extremities!

How long is a normal appointment?

The appointment length depends. Most appointments will be around 15 minutes.

Do you offer any additional services, such as nutritional counseling or corrective exercises?

Most of our patients are given stretches/exercises during their appointments with us.

  • Dr. Nic is a certified Nutrition Coach and offers nutritional counseling for patients.

  • Dr. Hodges offers in depth functional movement screens and gait analysis (both running & walking)

  • Both Docs offer 15-30min passive full-body stretching sessions.
